Back running after a few weeks’ illness; trying to shift the manflu still. Slowed down a bit by fire crews, police and ambulances at a fire on Bermondsey Wall.
I’ve lost 3½oz in the last couple of weeks … whoop!

Back after a 5 week lay-off due to manflu – still can’t shake it – and injuries. And my ankle isn’t fixed and my knee is playing up again, yadda, yadda…
And worse still, I’ve gained 1lb despite walking 75.4km to and from work.
Very windy and imminent threat of heavy rain plus I’ve come down with (yet another) summer cold. Great! But quite pleased with the run.
Weight is down ½lb since last time…
Very windy and cold – it’s June, FFS! – but a good time this evening.
Weight is up ½kg, or 1lb since the end of April.
So with less than a week before the Milton Keynes Half Marathon, my left ankle was dodgy with the tendons(?) pulling tight at the front, so with discretion being the better part of valour I pulled up short.
And I’ve lost a massive 0.1kg since Saturday!
Thought I’d check my local section of the London Marathon route for them tomorrow! Hard work after nearly two weeks’ break from running due to work travel. Cold, windy, warm and still, all in one run too.
I’m down about 1lb to 87.6kg
My first run-commute in 46 days! I’m sure I’ve gained weight as well, but this was apparently a PB.
Bad news? 1lb added weight since last month.
Bloody calf muscle nipped right up at around 2k. This weekend’s Cancer Research Winter Run 10k is a big worry now.
Weight is down to 87.5kg.
Pulled up at just before 3k thanks to a stupid calf muscle pulling. Grr!
Weighed in (after a snack) at 87.7kg, down about 1lb on the start of the week.
This felt really bad as I was so tired and walked towards the end, but the time says otherwise!
Weight after a boozy weekend’s entertaining is up to 88.2kg.
